Labeling: Clearly marked as SPONSORED or PAID PARTNERSHIP at the top of the article or section, in a visually distinct format.
Placement: Sponsored content is kept separate from purely editorial content and clearly distinguished in navigation and feeds.
Disclosure language (top of article):
SPONSORED. This piece is a paid partnership with [Company Name]. Venture: Orange County may receive compensation. Editorial standards still apply.
If we link to a product, service, or website and receive a commission or referral fee when a reader makes a purchase or takes an action, we disclose this.
Labeling: Marked with an inline disclosure label (e.g., "affiliate link") or noted in a disclaimer near the link.

Even when compensated, we maintain editorial standards:
