Your Rights Under California Law

California residents have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of their personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

This page explains your rights and how to exercise them.

What Is Considered "Sale" or "Sharing"?

Under California law:

Venture: Orange County does not actively sell personal information for payment. However, we may share limited information with third-party service providers (analytics platforms, email providers, advertising networks) to operate the site and improve marketing. If this constitutes "sharing" under California law, you have the right to opt out.

How to Opt Out

Method 1: Cookie Preferences

Click the Manage Preferences button in the cookie banner (appears when you first visit the site), then select your preferences for third-party cookies and targeted advertising.

Method 3: Email Request

Email us at privacy@ventureoc.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" and include:

We will confirm receipt promptly and implement your preference within 15 business days, as required by CCPA/CPRA.

Method 4: Global Privacy Control (GPC)

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser or device has GPC enabled, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information.

Do Not Track (DNT)

Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" feature. While we respect your privacy, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals. We do honor the Global Privacy Control signal (see above).
