What Happens Next

We review all submissions and take credible concerns seriously. If we agree the content needs correction or clarification, we will add a note to the relevant page reflecting the change. If we don't find sufficient evidence to support a change, we will respond with our reasoning.

Disagreements

If you disagree with our response:

We encourage robust, respectful discussion about content. However, we retain editorial discretion over all published content and will not necessarily adopt every requested change.

Anonymous Submissions

While we prefer to know who submitted a correction, anonymous submissions are accepted. However, we may not be able to follow up with you directly, and investigation may be more limited without your contact information.

Legal and Defamation Concerns

If you believe content on this site is defamatory, harassing, or otherwise violates your rights, contact us first at editorial@ventureoc.com with a clear description of the claim, the URL of the content, and any supporting documentation. For DMCA copyright claims specifically, please use the procedure on our DMCA Policy page — that is the appropriate channel for takedown requests. We review all such claims and, where appropriate, will engage qualified legal counsel to evaluate and respond to the matter. Submitting a claim does not waive any of your legal rights, and our review of a claim does not constitute an admission of any kind.

See our Terms of Use and Legal & Disclosures for more information.

Copyright and DMCA

If you believe content infringes your copyright, please submit a formal DMCA notice per 17 U.S.C. §512(c). See our DMCA Notice & Designated Agent page for procedures.

Data Requests (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are requesting your personal information, deletion of data, or other privacy rights under California law, see our Privacy Policy or Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.
